Contract, Ferry and Delivery Flights

Part of aircraft acquisitions is helping clients with the logistics.  As you buy an aircraft like a pro, one thing you’ll realize quickly is that:

  • You have to go sniff it, decide if it is for you.  (Call this “trip one.”)
  • If that trip goes well, it will need to go to a pre-buy inspection somewhere, typically at a shop with no connection to the aircraft. (More on this here call this “trip two.”)
  • Lastly, if your pre-buy goes well, it must come home and typically you’ve never flown one of these before, so… you’ve got me or someone that can help you do this safely while learning. (Call this “trip three.”)
